Quick Update

Just wanted to update this blog with a few things. Broadwick is now up to 484 customers for its IntelliContact Pro permission-based email marketing software and growing rapidly. We’re up to 12 employees and will be moving to a new 2,000 square foot office in September. I’m off to Nigeria in four weeks to speak to 5,500 Nigerian youths (www.ydef.org). Been to Charlotte, Kansas City, Providence, Boston, and D.C. so far this summer speaking. Virante is growing quickly as well and we are now up to five full-time employees. We continue to offer web marketing and search engine consulting, specializing in building online sales.

Finally, as planned I’ll be returning to UNC-CH this August to continue my studies as an economics major. I have two more years to go. While it will be difficult to balance being the CEO of a rapidly growing company with being a student, I think I’ll be okay. Will work the same amount of time, just sleep three hours less each night. While it may be hard for the next two years, I think this is important for pursuing my long-term goals.
