Internet 2.0

The sites that succeed on the Internet v2.0 will be those that allow user interaction, contribution, and creativity. Not rocket-science, but certainly something I've been realizing more and more over the past few months.

Here's how some of the leading sites that are encourgaing the user creativity and contribution phenonmenon are ranking according to Alexa..

Myspace.com - #16
Blogger.com #33
Wikipedia.org - #53
Facebook.com - #183

There was a great article on this in this week's BusinessWeek. It really is amazing what the collective time, energy, and intellect of humans can create.
