The Liberation from 800x600

Did anyone else notice the "Web Twopointoification" of CNN.com, NYTimes.com, and Yahoo Finance all on the same day yesterday and the breakaway of trying to be 800x600 compliant? I'm so excited. Here's to the death of 800x600.

The real question is, however, how could the New York Times, CNN, and Yahoo all decide to break away from the standard on the same day? There must have been a conspiracy.
